After Maria Wagner (head of games:net berlinbrandenburg) welcomed the speakers and guests, she handed over to Christian Schlosser Ph.D. from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. He introduced the federal government games programme with a short presentation and answered questions of the participants.
Afterwards, Robert Schmidt of IBB, the business development bank of the federal land of Berlin, gave a short overview over the different funding options: FoundingBONUS, Pro FIT, Innoassi and the Exhibition Funding.
After a short break, Jenni Wergin, Funding Manager Games at Medienboard shared details regarding the local funding programme for innovative and audiovisual content.
Next on stage was Thierry Baujard from SpielFabrique, who introduced their Acceleration Programme which supports the collaboration of local studios with studios in other countries.
Last but not least, André Bernhardt from Indie Advisor named the most challenging aspects of the application process and gave some tips to help the applicants save time and money.
