Almost an hour before the official opening of the gathering, which was led by Maria Wagner (Head of games:net) and Hans Jagnow (President of the ESBD), the first participants, well-known industry veterans, started to arrive at the terrace.
The early arrivals enjoyed the sun and the beer, and gleefully greeted every participant as they arrived. It was obvious right away, the feeling of a family gathering, with friends and like-minded enthusiasts coming together to discuss the topic they are most passionate about in an informal atmosphere.
Stories, business cases, contacts, strategies and new ideas were exchanged in the fantastic location of The Castle in Friedrichshain, amidst a vast selection of craft beer and snacks.
It was a great first gathering, and we thank all the participants for the outstanding evening. After this successful event, we are planning the next Berlin Esports Get Together in around three months. We hope to see you then!
