A total of 10 games company representatives from Berlin travelled to the U.S. with us, joining our delegation.  From March 17th to 20th, we visited San Francisco and attended the Game Developers Conference (GDC).The trip was financially enabled by Berlin’s Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises and by the European Union.

But the schedule offered more: We got the chance to visit multiple players of the industry to exchange with and to get some exclusive insight. Our delegation met with Sony Playstation, Twitch, Double Fine Productions, Unity and Xsolla to establish valuable contacts and learn from some of the top games experts. Many thanks to all partners on-site as well as to the hosts of GDC!

Beside the meetings, attending business parties was another part of the trip, to make it an even better experience in San Francisco. At the traditional German Evening on March 19, we got the chance to present our most anticipated project “House of Games” for the first time in an international context.

At the conference, at company visits or at dinner together: The whole delegation trip gave us many opportunities to talk about industry trends, establish new contacts and meet interesting people. Thank you to all delegation participants! Thanks to you, we were able to learn a lot while also having fun.
